Human Resource professionals have unique perspectives of the world around them. Their areas of focus cause them to see potential in people, business opportunities, threats, and areas of exposure. They also face unique challenges as they work to establish their credibility throughout the organization while overcoming being perceived as a cost center. As a result they are often forced to persuade reluctant partners, both above and below them, to take important actions in stressful situations. Considering the potential consequences of bad decisions, the timing and execution of these persuasive efforts are critical.

Michael Reddington leveraged his experience in the interview room when he created the Disciplined Listening Method to provide executives with the advantages they need to accurately evaluate communication, improve their questioning skills, and quickly connect with and influence their counterparts. The Disciplined Listening Method integrates the key components of four non-confrontational interview and interrogation techniques with current research and best practices to instill the skills necessary to activate the truth.
